FPLR-rated shielded fire alarm cable for vertical riser runs in shafts, stairwells, and between floors in commercial, residential, and industrial fire alarm systems. FPLR is the riser rating under NEC Article 760 — required for vertical runs where cable must resist fire propagation between floors. FPLR can substitute for FPL anywhere in the building.
Solid bare copper conductors deliver stable signal performance for smoke detectors, alarm panels, horns, strobes, modules, and control circuits. Aluminum foil shield and drain wire block EMI from motors, HVAC, lighting, and electrical equipment — the right choice for large buildings, commercial facilities, and any installation where signal integrity is critical. PVC insulation and flame-retardant PVC jacket. Rip cord for fast jacket removal. Red jacket for instant fire alarm identification. UL Listed FPLR, tested to UL 1424 and UL 1666. OD: 0.161 in.
