Cat6A FTP shielded plenum cable combining aluminum tape foil shielding with CMP fire certification — the most demanding Cat6A configuration for air-handling spaces with high electromagnetic interference. Required by code for installation above drop ceilings and below raised floors. Supports 10/100/1000/10G Base-T (IEEE 802.3) at up to 750MHz.
FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) insulation produces significantly less toxic smoke in a fire than standard PVC and meets the stricter CMP flame-spread requirements. Aluminum tape foil wraps all four twisted pairs with a drain wire for full, groundable EMI shielding. 23AWG solid bare copper conductors. Spline separator between pairs reduces NEXT crosstalk. Rip cord for clean jacket removal. Plenum-rated PVC outer jacket. OD 0.3153 in., 53 lbs per 1000ft reel.
