Cat6A FTP shielded plenum cable combining aluminum foil shielding with CMP/FT6 fire certification — the most demanding Cat6A configuration for air-handling spaces with electromagnetic interference. Required by code for installation above drop ceilings and below raised floors. Supports 10/100/1000/10G Base-T (IEEE 802.3) at up to 750MHz.
FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) insulation produces significantly less toxic smoke in a fire than standard PVC and meets the stricter CMP flame-spread requirements. AL-foil wraps all four twisted pairs with a drain wire for full, groundable EMI shielding. 23AWG solid bare copper conductors. Spline separator reduces NEXT and Alien Crosstalk (AXT). Rip cord for clean jacket removal. FR-PVC outer jacket rated CMP/FT6. OD: 0.3153 in. Weight: 49 lbs per 1000ft. NVP: 69%.
