Connect two pairs of outdoor speakers with one burial using this 16AWG 4-conductor OFC direct burial speaker wire. Four conductors in a single cable replace two separate 2-conductor runs to a pair of outdoor speakers on the deck, patio, or backyard — one pull, one trench, two speakers. CMR and CL3R rated for in-wall passes and riser runs where the cable enters the building.
16AWG is the right gauge for outdoor speaker runs up to 50 feet per pair to 8-ohm speakers at moderate power levels — background music zones, deck speakers, and secondary landscape speakers near the amplifier where the shorter 16AWG range is not a limitation. At 0.256 in. OD and 28 lbs, it is thinner and lighter than the 14AWG 4C outdoor version (0.315 in., 42 lbs), making it easier to route through tight outdoor conduit entries and landscape areas. For runs over 50ft or 4-ohm outdoor speakers, use the 14AWG 4C direct burial version.
