Cat6A FTP (Foiled Twisted Pair) shielded riser cable for 10G network infrastructure. An aluminum tape shield wraps all four twisted pairs with a drain wire for complete, groundable EMI protection — the key advantage over unshielded UTP in high-interference environments such as industrial floors, data centers, and locations near power equipment. Supports 10/100/1000/10G Base-T (IEEE 802.3) at up to 750MHz.
23AWG solid bare copper conductors with HDPE insulation. Spline separator between pairs reduces Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) in addition to the foil shield. Rip cord for clean jacket removal during termination. CMR-rated Flame Retardant PVC jacket for in-wall and vertical riser installation between floors. Jacket diameter: 0.3153 in.
Important: FTP cable requires shielded RJ45 connectors (STP/FTP plugs) and proper grounding at both termination points. Do not use with standard unshielded RJ45 connectors or plugs.
