  • 𝐅𝐏𝐋𝐑 𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐒 FPLR rating meets NEC Article 760 for vertical riser shafts between floors — and also substitutes for FPL in any non-plenum location in the building.
  • 𝐌𝐀𝐗 𝐋𝐎𝐀𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐗 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 14AWG lowest resistance in the fire alarm range — for the longest NAC runs and highest device counts where 16AWG or 18AWG produce voltage drop.
  • 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝟒𝐀𝐖𝐆 Solid bare copper delivers maximum conductivity and long-term electrical performance for demanding notification circuits across the full 1000ft reel.
  • 𝐖𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐌 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 Connects horns, strobes, horn/strobes, and notification appliances in Class B notification appliance circuits with the highest current demands.

Description

FPLR-rated fire alarm cable for vertical riser runs in shafts, stairwells, and between floors in commercial, residential, and industrial fire alarm systems. FPLR is the riser rating under NEC Article 760 — required for vertical runs where cable must resist fire propagation between floors. FPLR can substitute for FPL anywhere in the building.

14AWG is the heaviest gauge in the standard fire alarm cable range — the lowest resistance, highest current capacity, and longest circuit reach available. The right choice for the most demanding NAC circuits with the highest device counts and longest runs where 16AWG or 18AWG would produce unacceptable voltage drop. Solid bare copper conductors, PVC insulation and flame-retardant PVC jacket. Rip cord for fast jacket removal. Red jacket for instant fire alarm identification. UL Listed FPLR, tested to UL 1424 and UL 1666. OD: 0.213 in. Weight: 38 lbs per 1000ft.

Standards: C(UL) Listed FPLR · RoHS Compliant.
