FPLR-rated fire alarm cable for vertical riser runs in shafts, stairwells, and between floors in commercial, residential, and industrial fire alarm systems. FPLR is the riser rating under NEC Article 760 — required for vertical runs where cable must resist fire propagation between floors. FPLR can substitute for FPL anywhere in the building.
Solid bare copper conductors deliver stable signal performance for smoke detectors, alarm panels, horns, strobes, modules, and control circuits. Unshielded construction is the standard for most fire alarm circuits — lightweight, flexible, and easy to route and terminate. PVC insulation and flame-retardant PVC jacket. Rip cord for fast jacket removal. Red jacket for instant fire alarm identification. UL Listed FPLR, tested to UL 1424 and UL 1666. OD: 0.157 in. Weight: 21 lbs per 1000ft.
