Description
FPLR-rated 4-conductor fire alarm cable for vertical riser runs in shafts, stairwells, and between floors in commercial, residential, and industrial fire alarm systems. FPLR is the riser rating under NEC Article 760 — required for vertical runs where cable must resist fire propagation between floors. FPLR can substitute for FPL anywhere in the building.
4-conductor construction (Black/Red/Yellow/Blue) supports Class A supervisory circuits — a closed loop configuration that allows the fire alarm system to continue operating and pinpoint the fault even if one segment of the cable is broken or shorted. Solid bare copper conductors deliver stable signal performance. Unshielded construction is lightweight, flexible, and easy to route and terminate. PVC insulation and flame-retardant PVC jacket. Rip cord for fast jacket removal. Red jacket for instant fire alarm identification. UL Listed FPLR, tested to UL 1424 and UL 1666. OD: 0.183 in. Weight: 35 lbs per 1000ft.
