Wire bi-wire speakers, impedance-matching volume controls, and dual in-wall speaker pairs with this 16AWG 4-conductor in-wall speaker wire. CL2 rated for permanent installation inside the walls of residential buildings, it is available in 100ft and 250ft for installations where speaker pairs and volume controls are within 50 feet of the amplifier.
16AWG is the correct gauge for these shorter 4-conductor runs — background music zones, secondary surround channels, dual in-ceiling speaker pairs in small rooms, and 4-conductor volume control loops where the device is close to the amplifier. The thinner and more flexible construction routes through walls and into wall plates more easily than 14AWG 4C. Color-coded insulation — Black, Red, White, and Green — makes termination fast and accurate at every bi-wire speaker terminal, volume control, and amplifier output.
