Connect your speakers to an AV receiver or amplifier with this 14AWG 2-conductor speaker wire in a clear PVC jacket. The transparent jacket keeps cable runs visually unobtrusive along baseboards, shelving edges, and behind audio equipment — a practical choice for living rooms, home theaters, and desktop setups where a white or black cable would be visually distracting in a finished space.
14AWG handles runs up to 100 feet to 8-ohm speakers with lower resistance than 16AWG, making it the right gauge for standard home theater speaker runs and most single-room audio setups. For shorter runs and desktop or bookshelf speaker applications, 14AWG provides comfortable headroom without the extra bulk of 12AWG. Flexible stranded construction routes easily around obstacles and terminates cleanly into banana plugs, spade connectors, and bare wire binding posts. One conductor is stripe-marked for polarity identification — connect the stripe consistently to positive (+) at both the amplifier and speaker on every run.
Note: This cable does not carry a CL2 or CL3 fire-safety rating and is not approved for in-wall installation. For permanent in-wall runs in residential buildings, choose the CL2-rated version of this wire.
