This 14AWG OFC stranded speaker wire is rated CMR/CL3R for in-wall and riser installations, UV resistant and sun-rated for exposed outdoor runs, and direct burial rated for underground installation without conduit.
The FR-PVC jacket wraps a paper tape layer underneath for additional moisture and physical protection during direct burial and outdoor use. 105 strands of oxygen-free bare copper per conductor provide maximum flexibility for routing through walls, around landscape obstacles, and into outdoor speaker enclosures. Red (+) and Black (-) color-coded insulation keeps polarity consistent from the amplifier to every outdoor speaker. For 8-ohm speakers, 14AWG handles outdoor runs up to 100 feet without meaningful signal loss. Conductor resistance: 10 ohms/1000m. OD: 0.256 in. Weight: 27 lbs per 500ft.
