Wire fire alarm and life-safety circuits with this 14AWG 4-conductor solid bare copper fire alarm cable, C(UL) Listed FPLR (Fire Power-Limited Riser) for vertical riser runs between floors and general fire alarm wiring in commercial and residential buildings. Connects fire alarm control panels, pull stations, smoke and heat detectors, horns, strobes, and other notification appliances on power-limited signaling circuits.
Solid bare copper conductors — not copper-clad — deliver low, stable resistance over long fire alarm runs for reliable signal integrity to every device. PVC insulation and a flame-retardant red PVC jacket meet FPLR riser flame-spread requirements. Four individually color-coded conductors (Black, Red, Yellow, Blue) make device and zone wiring fast and error-free. A built-in rip cord strips the jacket cleanly at every junction box and device termination.
