This Cat5e outdoor direct burial ethernet cable is built for underground burial, aerial runs, and exterior wall installation. 24AWG solid bare copper conductors deliver reliable signal, and gel-filled construction floods every internal void, preventing moisture ingress even if the jacket is nicked or penetrated.
Gel fill is the top choice for wet soil, flooded conduit, and high-humidity environments where maximum waterproofing is required. The sunlight-resistant LLDPE jacket is rated for -20°C to +75°C, and HDPE insulation adds further moisture resistance. Tested to 350MHz, it supports Gigabit Ethernet at up to 328 feet with PoE/PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at).
