This Cat5e outdoor direct burial ethernet cable is built for underground burial, aerial runs, and exterior wall installation. 24AWG solid bare copper conductors deliver reliable signal, and WaterBlock tape wraps the twisted pairs to block moisture along the run.
Unlike gel-filled cable, WaterBlock tape stays clean and dry at the termination point, making field terminations faster and less messy without sacrificing water protection. The sunlight-resistant LLDPE jacket is rated for -20°C to +75°C, and HDPE insulation adds further moisture resistance. Tested to 350MHz, it supports Gigabit Ethernet at up to 328 feet with PoE/PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at).
