This Cat5e CMP-rated shielded plenum ethernet cable is built for air-handling spaces above drop ceilings and below raised floors. CMP/FT6 is the highest indoor fire rating, covering plenum, riser, and in-wall installs with one spec. 24AWG solid bare copper supports Gigabit Ethernet to 328 feet with 350MHz and PoE/PoE+.
The overall F/UTP aluminum-foil shield blocks EMI and reduces crosstalk near HVAC, lighting, and power lines. FEP insulation handles elevated plenum temperatures and produces less toxic smoke than PVC in a fire, meeting the stricter CMP flame requirements. A ripcord and footage markings make pulls fast and accurate.
