Cat6A CMP-rated plenum ethernet cable required by code for air-handling spaces above drop ceilings and below raised floors. CMP/FT6 is the highest indoor fire rating and substitutes for CMR or lower anywhere in the building. Supports 10G Base-T and PoE/PoE+/PoE++ up to 100W.
FEP insulation is the key difference from riser cable: less toxic smoke and stricter flame spread compliance for plenum spaces. 23AWG solid bare copper delivers stronger conductivity than CCA. A spline separator reduces NEXT and alien crosstalk in dense above-ceiling bundles. Backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e.
