This Cat5e CMR-rated shielded riser ethernet cable is built for in-wall and vertical between-floor installations in residential and commercial buildings. CMR/FT4 is approved for riser and in-wall runs, supporting Gigabit Ethernet to 328 feet with 350MHz bandwidth and PoE/PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at).
The overall F/UTP aluminum-foil shield blocks EMI and reduces crosstalk on runs near electrical panels, HVAC, and industrial equipment. HDPE insulation adds corrosion and chemical resistance standard PVC doesn't offer. A ripcord and footage markings make jacket removal and pulls fast and accurate.
