One cable. Two functions. This hybrid riser control cable carries a dedicated 18AWG power pair and a shielded 22AWG data pair inside a single CMR-rated jacket — eliminating the need to pull separate power and signal cables to automation devices, intercoms, cameras, and access control hardware in walls and risers.
The 22AWG shielded pair uses Form PE insulation and 100% aluminum tape coverage with a tinned copper drain wire to completely isolate the data signal from the 18AWG power pair running alongside it — preventing crosstalk and electromagnetic interference from the power conductors. The teal jacket with yellow stripe is the recognized industry-standard jacket color for automation and AV control cable, making identification fast and reliable on any job site.
