Run shielded 4-conductor CMP control wiring through plenum spaces with the slimmest cable in the 4C lineup — this 22AWG shielded stranded bare copper control cable measures just 3.55mm in diameter and weighs only 20.9 lbs per 1,000ft. Rated CMP and CL2P, it is approved for air-handling spaces above suspended ceilings, below raised floors, and in risers and walls in residential and commercial buildings.
22AWG is ideal for low-power signal and control applications where the device draws minimal current — intercoms, door stations, card readers, sensors, low-voltage relays, and auxiliary alarm wiring. The aluminum foil shield with tinned copper drain wire blocks EMI from HVAC equipment, power wiring, and lighting ballasts for clean, noise-free signals across all four conductors. A built-in ripcord enables fast jacket removal at every termination.
