Run four-conductor shielded control wiring through walls and risers with this 18AWG 4-conductor shielded stranded bare copper control cable. Rated CMR / FT4 and C(ETL)US Listed for permanent in-wall and vertical riser installations in residential and commercial buildings — delivering shielded 4-conductor performance at a lower cost than the plenum-rated version when the cable run does not pass through air-handling spaces.
Four color-coded conductors (Black, Red, Yellow, Green) let you handle power, signal, status, and auxiliary functions over a single shielded riser cable run — reducing conduit fill in building riser shafts compared to pulling multiple 2-conductor cables. The aluminum foil shield with drain wire blocks EMI from electrical wiring, HVAC equipment, and lighting ballasts for clean, stable signals across all four conductors. At just 24 lbs per 1,000ft, it is significantly lighter than the plenum version. A built-in ripcord ensures fast jacket removal at every termination.
