The most capable cable in the control cable lineup — this 18AWG 6-conductor shielded stranded bare copper control cable combines six individually color-coded conductors, a triple-layer shield system, and a Low Smoke FR-PVC CMP-rated jacket into a single cable designed for the most complex, code-critical commercial installations. Rated CMP and CL2P, it is approved for air-handling plenum spaces, suspended ceilings, raised floors, risers, and in-wall runs.
The shield system — aluminum foil, PE tape, and tinned copper drain wire — blocks EMI from all six conductors simultaneously in environments with significant electrical interference. Six color-coded conductors (Black, Red, White, Green, Brown, Blue) handle power, signal, return, tamper, status, and auxiliary functions over a single plenum cable run. A built-in ripcord enables fast, clean jacket removal at every termination point.
