Run six-conductor CMP-rated control wiring through plenum spaces at a lower cost and smaller diameter than the shielded version with this 18AWG 6-conductor unshielded stranded bare copper control cable. Rated CMP and CL2P, it meets the highest indoor fire safety standard and is approved for air-handling spaces above suspended ceilings, below raised floors, and in risers and walls in residential and commercial buildings.
Six color-coded conductors (Black, Red, White, Green, Brown, Blue) let you handle power, signal, return, tamper, status, and auxiliary functions over a single plenum cable run — eliminating three separate 2-conductor runs and cutting conduit fill in commercial ceiling spaces. The unshielded design keeps diameter and cost lower for installations without significant EMI from power lines or industrial equipment. A built-in ripcord enables fast, clean jacket removal at every termination point.
