Run six-conductor shielded CMR control wiring through walls and risers with this 18AWG 6-conductor shielded stranded bare copper control cable, rated CMR and C(ETL)US Listed — delivering EMI-protected performance at a lower cost than plenum.
The shield system — aluminum foil, PE tape, and tinned copper drain wire — blocks EMI from all six conductors simultaneously, keeping signals clean near HVAC equipment, power wiring, and lighting ballasts. Six color-coded conductors (Black, Red, White, Green, Brown, Blue) handle power, signal, return, tamper, status, and auxiliary functions over one shielded riser run — replacing three separate 2-conductor cables. For plenum spaces, choose CMP instead.
