  • 𝐅𝐏𝐋𝐑 𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐒 FPLR rating meets NEC Article 760 for vertical riser shafts between floors — and also substitutes for FPL in any non-plenum location in the building.
  • 𝟏𝟒𝐀𝐖𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐗 𝐍𝐀𝐂 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 14AWG has the lowest resistance in the fire alarm range — for the longest NAC runs and highest device counts where 16AWG or 18AWG cause voltage drop.
  • 𝐀𝐋-𝐅𝐎𝐈𝐋 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐒 𝐄𝐌𝐈 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐅𝐈 AL-foil shield and drain wire block EMI from motors, HVAC, and electrical panels — keeping alarm signals clean in large commercial buildings.
  • 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝟒𝐀𝐖𝐆 Solid bare copper delivers maximum conductivity and long-term electrical performance for demanding notification circuits across the full 1000ft reel.
  • 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑-𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐋 Red jacket for instant fire alarm identification. Rip cord for fast jacket removal. Sequential footage markings. 1000ft reel for large installations.

Description

FPLR-rated 14AWG shielded fire alarm cable for vertical riser runs in shafts and between floors. FPLR is the riser rating under NEC Article 760 — required wherever fire alarm circuits run vertically through more than one floor. FPLR substitutes for FPL; FPLP substitutes for FPLR.

14AWG is the heaviest gauge in the standard fire alarm range — lowest resistance, highest current, and longest notification appliance circuit (NAC) reach before voltage drop becomes a problem. The aluminum foil shield with drain wire blocks EMI from motors, HVAC, and electrical panels. Also commonly used for security and burglar alarm wiring on the same job.

Standards: C(UL) Listed FPLR · UL 1424 · UL 1666 · RoHS Compliant
