This Cat6 CMP-rated shielded plenum Ethernet cable is built for above-ceiling air-handling spaces and can also replace CMR or in-wall cable in any installation. 23AWG solid bare copper conductors deliver strong signal, and the overall F/UTP aluminum-foil shield blocks EMI and reduces crosstalk from HVAC units, electrical panels, and dense cable runs. FEP insulation meets strict low-smoke plenum requirements that standard PVC cannot.
Note: shielded cable requires shielded RJ45 connectors and proper grounding for full EMI protection.
