Terminate Cat5e and Cat5 solid UTP cable runs in the field with these 8P8C RJ45 modular plugs. Designed specifically for solid-conductor cable, these standard crimp plugs are the correct choice for terminating in-wall cat5e runs, keystone patch cables, and network drop cables where solid AWG conductors are used rather than stranded patch cord cable.
The clear polycarbonate housing lets you verify conductor order visually before committing the crimp — confirming T568A or T568B wire order without a cable tester after the fact. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion at the pin-to-conductor interface, maintaining low contact resistance across years of permanent installation. Standard crimp termination works with any 8P8C modular plug crimp tool.
