Pass-through RJ45 modular plugs let all 8 conductors slide completely through the plug body before crimping — the wire ends protrude visibly from the front of the connector. Verify that every conductor is in the correct T568A or T568B position and fully seated before the crimp tool trims and terminates in a single action. No mis-terminations from blind loading, no re-crimping, no wasted connectors.

The pass-through design also enables the cable pairs to be pushed all the way to the pin contact points, minimizing untwisted wire length at the termination — the leading cause of crosstalk and reduced channel performance at the plug end. This produces consistently cleaner terminations, especially on Cat6 cable where near-end crosstalk (NEXT) is a primary performance criterion.
